E-Learning Application Design

If you’re looking for an e-learning designer to help train your staff or build apps for your LMS (Learning Management System), Snap Design can help.

What is e-learning?

E-learning is used for training and teaching purposes, using on-screen, interactive applications to give guidance, instruction and even assessment (if you already have an LMS). It is particularly used for self-learning purposes, to supplement other types of training and can be carried out wherever there is a computer and access to the internet. It can be used in Education and in the workplace.

How e-learning can help your organisation

Company IT systems, procedures and software applications are becoming increasingly more complex. Staff are expected to learn how to use these systems with tasks that are additional to their main role. Other trained staff members are not always available to help, leaving users to ‘learn on the job’.

A bespoke training or e-learning app can emulate the processes and steps required for staff to carry out particular tasks, in order to be confident on their use before applying them to the ‘live’ systems.

What do we do?

We can build an interactive on-screen demo of your application, with step-by-step instructions that allows the users to complete a series of tasks in exactly the same way they would with your live system. Your staff can be assessed with quiz questions to ensure they understood the training with pass/fail percentages set. If you already have an LMS in place, SCORM compliant files can be supplied to record this data.

Previous Projects

Snap Design have worked with clients including a large national pharmaceutical company. Previous projects include an interactive tool to demonstrate the company's internal sales procedures. As well as being used by individuals as a training tool, the client was also able to use it as a group screen presentation.

Additional e-learning projects have been designed to train large sales teams on the use of their CRM system and the complex procedures required to log leads and sales contacts correctly. This was achieved by creating specific tasks for the user to complete in exactly the same way they would when using their live CRM.
